My role on this project
Mission Time: January 2022 to November 2022 (11 Months)
-
Rework and update the Game Design Document
When I arrived, the 24 mini-games were being designed by another Game Designer. I took his place and continued the work, bringing the total to 32 mini-games.
-
Rework mini-games
During pre-production. We had to modify many of the environments in line with the demands of the rights holders. So I reworked some of the gameplay to adapt it to the new settings.
-
Supervise the implementation and execution of mini-games
I was present during all the production and polishing phases to submit modifications and improvements to the Mini-Games to ensure a good level of quality.
-
Creation of the Lasagna Race mode
After completing the mini-games, I set about creating the Lasagna Race mode. I drew inspiration from Mario Party boards and Monopoly to create a game that's fun and not too random.
-
Balancing Mini-games and adjusting game difficulties
Finally, I've adjusted the difficulty datas for the Mini-games so that the AIs are neither insurmountable nor too easy to tackle.

Lasagna Race Mode
Principle of the game
The principle of the game is to navigate a board divided into several squares. On his turn, each player rolls his die and moves forward as many squares as the result obtained.
As in the Goose Game, each square triggers an effect an effect when a player completes movement on it. When all players have completed their turn, a mini-game mini-game is chosen and the 4 players compete in it.
Rhythm
The game is turn-based, as in Mario Party, but players can interact with each other during their opponents' turns using objects.
Rounds
The number of rounds is chosen before the game starts, but the game has a minimum of 10 rounds. This implies that each player will roll his or her die a minimum of 10 times and take part in at least 10 different mini-games.
Goal of the game
The goal of the game is to be the player with the most Lasagna at the end of the last round. Lasagnas can be obtained by completing mini-games, but also with effects on the game board or with event cards.
Players
This mode is played locally by 1 to 4 players
Movement
Classic Dice
Each player has a similar die ranging from 3 to 7. Each number rolled advances the player the same number of squares on the board.

There are 3 different dice in all, and if a player has a special die, he must roll it at the start of his turn. Special dice are for one-time use only, and can be more or less effective than standard dice. They are obtained if the player has completed his previous turn on certain special squares.

Super Dice
Mean value: 8 | Variance: 2.67 | Standard deviation: 1.63
